Automatic roller-type shot blasting machines are primarily used in construction and other industries for stress relief, surface rust removal, and cleaning of large steel structures. The steel is conveyed into the blasting machine room via an adjustable speed roller, where it is bombarded by powerful projectiles from different angles. This blasting process swiftly eliminates oxide scale, rust, and dirt, resulting in a smooth surface that enhances paint adhesion, improves steel quality, and extends its lifespan.
Workpieces are loaded and unloaded on roller conveyors at the entrance and exit of the cleaning room. Shot projectiles and rust dust are swept away and collected in the chamber funnel through a blowing system and a recovery screw. The separated pure projectiles are recycled, while the dust is sent to the dust removal system, purifying the air and releasing it into the atmosphere. This ensures clean and pollution-free air while capturing and collecting particulate dust in the dust removal device.
